Nine Men's Morris and it's variations were played as early as the 1st century BC and were very popular in the middle ages with boards found scratched into stones in many cathedrals throughout Britain.

Fox games date back to at least the 14th century. Edward IV of England is known to have played a version of the game and Fox and Geese was a favourite pastime of Queen Victoria.
